Connectivity - Cape Town, is going ahead in 2011, dates to be confirmed. A provisional group of partners consisting of Idem - Germany/Switzerland, Idem - Netherlands, Idem - Brazil, the YouthSection, YIP and an Idem group working in Cape Town have begun on the preparatory stages of planning the conference.
One of the points uppermost on the agenda is the forming of an international team of partners and people, which we hope, will reflect the different spheres of interest and relevant questions and issues that this time brings.

This conference for those who have, in the past, done some extended service as volunteers in another country, took place in August 2009 in Potsdamm, Germany.

We offer workshops for schools and at conferences dealing with subjects like:
How can I start and run an initiative or learn to understand the effects of globalization.
Where and how does one become involved? What is one’s personal identity in a multi-cultural society without boundaries?
Do Development projects make a difference and what does it mean to work in an NGO?
How can I find out what I want to do with my life with the world being the way it is?
We believe that these questions are fundamental to the future of our environment, and the safety and justice of our society, and have therefore held workshops and been part of the organisation of a whole series of conferences over the past few years
